Quebec hospital experimented with Remdesivir on 2 year old boy
Unauthorized use of deadly covid drug dropped infant's heart rate to below 40 bpm
Serious adverse event reports associated with remdesivir were requested under Canada’s Access to Information Act.
14 reports submitted by hospitals were obtained
7 reports submitted by pharma corp Gilead are pending
One hospital report - written in French so we know it’s from Quebec - illustrates what was done to a little boy, between 4 May and 15 May 2022.
Remdesivir is authorized in Canada only for ages 12+.
Translation:
This is an almost 2-year-old patient known for polymalformative syndrome with complex heart disease. He was admitted on May 4, 2022 for a diagnosis of adenoiditis with cellulitis of the anterior pillars and the soft palate.
There is evidence of positive COVID-19 so treatment with dexamethasone for 10 days and remdesivir for 5 days is started.
On May 8, there is an appearance of cardiac bradycardia up to 38-40 beats per minute in sleep without hemodynamic instability.
The patient was admitted to intensive care on May 9 for monitoring of auricular bradycardia (14th intensive care hospitalization since birth).
Remdesivir and dexamethasone are discontinued in this context. There is then progressive improvement of the bradycardias caused by medication. The patient returned to the second floor on May 11, then was discharged from hospital on May 15.
Medical insanity
The boy came in with inflamed adenoids and palette — he merely tested positive for covid. There is no mention of him exhibiting any covid symptoms.
The medical team then put the child on a 5-day IV course of remdesivir! The same remdesivir that was terminated from a 2019 ebola trial after more than half the test subjects died…
Legal information
True consent cannot be made on behalf of a child by a caregiver who has been misled with propaganda for years on end. Deception nullifies the possibility of making legally informed consent. (Please look up the medical consent laws in your jurisdiction)
This case constitutes unauthorized use in a 2 year old, as the authorization - which is unethical in the first place - requires the patient be at least 12. The hospital is liable regardless of claims from Health Canada that remdesivir is “approved”, protecting off-label use. An investigation is warranted.
The agency permanently undermined its review process when it added a special designation for ‘COVID-19 drugs’ in September 2021. The new designation effectively extends the ‘interim order’ signed by then-Minister of Health Patricia Hajdu.
The interim order expired on 16 September 2021 under section 30.1(2)(d) of the Food and Drugs Act — and that very day the new designation extended the order arbitrarily, via the Regulations (not the Act). Interim orders are Health Canada’s equivalent of the FDA’s ‘emergency use authorization’.
The great majority of doctors and nurses have good intentions, but good intentions are not always sufficient to protect patients from predatory corporations and faceless bureaucracies. Good intentions alone do not guarantee good treatment. A medical professional needs serious courage to treat patients best.
Medical pros are not necessarily thinking critically or even verifying ‘facts’ they hear about the safety/efficacy of a given drug. Blind trust and obedience in corrupted ‘health authorities’ has resulted in very poor judgement in many cases, endangering us all — especially those without a voice.
